Job summary

Future Generation Joint Venture (FGJV), based in NSW, leads cost controlling and budget management for the Snowy 2.0 project. The role focuses on cost control, resource utilization, and timely reporting to support the delivery of a major infrastructure scheme.

Requirements include a Bachelor in engineering management or commerce and a White Card, 5 years in cost control or estimating on large builds, advanced Excel and SAP skills, and strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering management (or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce (or equivalent).
• White Card.

Responsibilities

• Manage project cost, budget, and resource tracking in line with FGJV budget.
• Prepare and review the executive budget biannually or after changes.
• Analyze variances between estimated and actual costs monthly.
• Coordinate with project management to keep expenditures within budget.
• Produce monthly reports and production statistics.
• Establish and audit cost control procedures on site.
