Eptec Pty Ltd, via its Corrosion Control Engineering division in New South Wales, is hiring a Corrosion Technician. The role focuses on field audits, CP system installation and maintenance, and travel to diverse sites across the region. Strong communication and willingness to learn are essential as you contribute to protecting buried or immersed structures.

The position offers a permanent full-time role with opportunities for growth and on-site parking, plus access to company devices and support.

Formación

• Australian citizen or permanent resident in Australia.
• Experience in cathodic protection or related field is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct field audits and pipeline surveys (DCVG/CIPS) and routine testing.
• Install and commission cathodic protection systems; perform troubleshooting and repairs.
• Keep accurate records and submit detailed reports of work performed.

About the Company

Corrosion Control Engineering (A member of the Eptec Group) is Australasia’s largest corrosion prevention engineering company, utilising cathodic protection and material selection to protect buried or immersed metallic structures from corrosion.

CCE specialise in the use of cathodic protection to safeguard buried or immersed steel structures from corrosion including pipelines, wharves, jetties, storage tanks, and offshore assets.

We are looking for a Corrosion Technician to join CCE’s New South Wales Team

While experience in this space is highly regarded, it's not essential. We welcome individuals with a strong background in cathodic protection or related fields who are eager to learn and grow with us.

Technician Responsibilities include:

• Conduct field audits, pipeline surveys (DCVG/CIPS), routine testing, installation, and routine maintenance.
• Commission cathodic protection systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues and implement necessary repairs and improvements.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and submit detailed reports.

Requirements:

• Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have equivalent working rights in Australia.
• Previous experience in cathodic protection, corrosion control, or a related field is highly regarded. (but not essential)
• Excellent Communications Skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.
• Computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites.
