Inner West Council is seeking a Corporate Strategy, Performance & Improvement Manager to lead the organisation's strategic planning, performance measurement and continuous improvement efforts. You will collaborate with executive leaders to translate ambitious goals into practical programs and outcomes that strengthen services for our community.

Competenze

• Tertiary qualifications in business/public administration/strategy or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in corporate strategy, organisational planning, performance management and business improvement.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive transformation in a complex environment.
• Ability to establish planning and performance frameworks and manage competing priorities.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking with data-driven recommendations.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management with executive reporting experience.

About the role

As the Corporate Strategy, Performance & Improvement Manager lead Council’s corporate strategy, business planning, performance and improvement functions. You'll work alongside leaders across the organisation to turn ambitious goals into practical outcomes, guiding strategic planning, organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen services for our community. Remuneration

$155,168.00 - $174,643.04 p.a. + 12% Superannuation

Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, public administration, strategy, organisational performance, management, governance or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in corporate strategy, organisational planning, performance management, business improvement, service reviews or organisational development.
• Experience leading teams and influencing organisational outcomes in a complex environment along with leading organisational improvement, transformation or business excellence initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain planning, performance or improvement frameworks along with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes across multiple programs of work.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills along with demonstrated ability to translate data, insights and complex information into practical recommendations and actions.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills along with experience preparing executive reports, strategic advice and performance reporting.
