Job summary

Links Golf & Wellbeing is seeking an experienced full-time Corporate & Golf Events Executive to execute corporate days and golf events. You will manage prestigious corporate golf events, maintain client relationships, and coordinate event logistics from inquiry to post-event review.

The role requires strong event experience, excellent customer service, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver memorable experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role in events or golf industry.
• Strong customer service and communication skills essential.
• Experience with Micropower, MiClub and Golf Genius is advantageous.

About Links Golf & Wellbeing:

Links Golf & Wellbeing is one of Australia’s iconic resort golf destinations. We are located on beautiful Hope Island Resort only a 25-minute drive from the prestigious beaches of Surfers Paradise and 45 min drive from Brisbane CBD, making us the perfect location in Southeast Queensland. Since its inception in 1993 it has consistently ranked as one of the most outstanding courses in Queensland. The course consists of 18 championship holes, 1 spare hole, driving range, chipping green, two practice putting greens and extensive clubhouse grounds. Cleverly designed by five times British Open Champion and one of the true greats of Australian golf, Peter Thomson, and his design partner, Mike Wolveridge, Links is known for its challenging layout and breathtaking views. The championship layout carries a par of 72, featuring 118 pot style bunkers and measures almost 6,500 metres from the championship tees.

Position Available:

Links Golf & Wellbeing is currently seeking an experienced full time Corporate & Golf Events Executive to execute corporate days and golf events. Links is host to a significant number of large-scale corporate golf events and we take great pride in the long-term relationships we enjoy with many clients. It is our goal to continue to grow this segment of the business. The successful applicant will have previous experience in a similar role within the golf or conference and events industry.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for corporate and group golf events and associated functions.
• Handle new and repeat inquiry.
• Maintain excellent relations with existing clients.
• Set up events in the system and input client’s information to database.
• Formulate event orders invoices.
• Work closely with the Golf Executive, Golf Services Supervisor and the Team Leader in the lead up, throughout and post event.
• Conduct weekly event meetings with the management team.
• Develop necessary set up schedules for all events.
• Maintain communication with clients about payments, accounts and menu changes.
• Provide regular communication to the Golf Executive about monthly sales goals and progress.
• Oversee set up, staffing and the execution of the event. Being present in the room to address the needs of the client and to ensure the event is executed as planned.
• Follow up with the client for post-event review.
• Perform site inspections, answer enquiries and drive business.
• Attend networking events.
• Assist with in-house events, golf events and offer assistance with ideas, set up and execution.

Selection Criteria:

• Previous event experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role is essential.
• Experience with Micropower, MiClub and Golf Genius software platforms is advantageous.
• Sensational customer service.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and impeccable grooming that would be expected in a corporate setting is essential.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Positive outgoing attitude ready to do what it takes to get the job done.
