Capricorn, a leading Australian member-owned organisation, is seeking a Corporate Finance Manager to lead the Corporate Finance Team and oversee accurate statutory and investment reporting across the Group. You'll coordinate tax compliance, month-end processes, general ledger integrity, and balance sheet controls, while partnering with senior leaders, auditors and banking partners.

This key leadership role focuses on governance, data quality, automation and continuous improvement to deliver

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification and a Commerce or Business degree are essential.
• 10–15 years of post‑qualification experience in corporate finance and financial control.
• Proven experience leading a finance team and delivering statutory reporting.
• Strong knowledge of AASB reporting and income tax legislation.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations and workload planning of the Corporate Finance Team.
• Oversee statutory and investment reporting, tax compliance, and month‑end close.
• Ensure general ledger integrity and balance sheet controls across the group.
• Coordinate internal/external audits and banking relationships.
• Drive continuous improvement, data quality and automation across finance.
