Job summary

nbn Australia seeks a Manager Financial Control and Accounting Services to lead financial control and governance across its Capital Programs. You will work with Commercial Finance, Project Delivery and wider Finance teams to ensure accurate management, forecast and statutory reporting.

As a professionally qualified accountant, you will drive continuous improvement, strengthen governance, and support long-term strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified accountant with experience in large, complex organisations.
• Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and reporting requirements.
• Proven ability to lead financial control and governance across programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial control, governance and accounting leadership across the Capital Programs portfolio.
• Collaborate with Commercial Finance, Project Delivery and broader Finance teams.
• Ensure accurate reflection in management, forecasting and statutory reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement and strengthen end-to-end asset lifecycle governance.
