Job summary

Jarden is seeking a motivated Associate to join our General Industrials Corporate Finance team in Sydney. The role offers exposure to high-profile transactions and the chance to develop alongside industry-leading professionals within a market-leading advisory firm.

You will work closely with colleagues and clients in a fast-paced, team-based environment, applying strong communication and analytical skills to deliver sophisticated financial analyses and client-ready materials.

Qualifications

• Three years or more of corporate finance experience in investment banking or boutique advisory firms.
• Exposure to industrials is desirable but not required.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of M&A transactions, capital raisings and strategic advisory mandates.
• Prepare financial analyses, valuation models and transaction documentation.
• Run due diligence and coordinate with legal, accounting and other professional advisors.
• Prepare pitch materials and client presentations.
• Conduct independent industry and company research to inform strategic recommendations.
• Develop client relationships through active involvement in transactions and advisory assignments.
• Stay informed on trends, market developments and regulatory changes across the industrials sector.

Key responsibilities:

In addition, you have:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• A minimum of three years' corporate finance experience at an investment bank or boutique advisory firm. Exposure to industrials is desirable but not required.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of valuation techniques
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
