Job summary

Victory Minerals Pty Ltd is seeking a Core Shed Assistant to join our Ballarat operations. The role involves processing and sampling of diamond drill core, reporting to the Senior Drilling Geologist, and maintaining precise documentation and data collection.

It is a hands-on position requiring attention to safety and accuracy. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, data entry skills, and a forklift licence (or the ability to obtain one) are desirable, with Geosciences training highly regarded.

Victory Minerals Pty Ltd is a successful gold explorer and producer in Victoria's gold belt. The company has entered an exciting new era, under new ownership and exploring new opportunities. The primary focus is our high-grade underground gold mine in Ballarat, which started producing gold in December 2005, and produces 30,000 to 40,000 ounces of gold per year.

The mine is located within the beautiful regional town of Ballarat, located just 100km west of Melbourne, which is experiencing unprecedented growth and development.

Role

Victory Minerals is looking for a Core Shed Assistant to join our team.

Reporting to the Senior Drilling Geologist, the position will primarily assist in the company’s core shed and duties will be focused on processing and sampling of diamond drill core.

This is a hands‑on position with an emphasis on focused tasks whilst maintaining a high standard of documentation and data collection.

Roster

5:2 Roster 7:00am - 4:00pm with a potential to move to a 8:6 Roster once fully trained.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Familiarity with Microsoft Office computer programs and data entry skills;

Ability to work safely and follow safety procedures;

A licence to operate a forklift or ability to gain a licence;

Experience in a similar role or training in Geosciences will also be highly regarded
