Job summary

Orica is seeking a highly organized Warehousing Coordinator to support warehouse, inventory, and logistics operations in Seventeen Miles Rocks, Brisbane. You will manage inventory and assets, coordinate equipment servicing, and facilitate timely movements to meet customer needs.

You will collaborate with sales, operations, and external providers to maintain asset readiness and safe, compliant warehouse activities while driving efficiency and accuracy across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing, inventory, logistics, or asset management.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate record keeping.
• Proficiency with inventory or asset management systems.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, safety-focused approach with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Forklift Licence (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage the receipt, inspection, maintenance, calibration, and tracking of inventory and company assets.
• Maintain accurate inventory and asset records, conduct stock counts, and ensure equipment availability and serviceability.
• Coordinate warehouse operations, including picking, packing, dispatch, freight bookings, and equipment movements.
• Ensure warehouse activities are conducted safely and in accordance with HSE&S and compliance requirements.
• Support operational teams by providing inventory, logistics, and equipment coordination services.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and customer service.

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Warehousing Coordinator to support our warehouse, inventory, and logistics operations, located in Seventeen Miles Rocks. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate management of inventory and company assets, coordinating equipment servicing and calibration activities, and facilitating the timely movement of equipment and materials to support business operations and customer requirements.

Working closely with sales, operations, field personnel, and external logistics providers, the Warehousing Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, equipment readiness, and efficient warehouse operations while upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance.

What you be doing
