Job summary

Orica in Yarwun, Queensland is seeking a Distribution Coordinator to join our Manufacturing team. You will coordinate safe, compliant, and efficient movement of products across domestic and export networks to ensure on-time, in-full delivery.

You’ll work with manufacturing, logistics providers, shipping partners and internal stakeholders on transport planning, inventory management and distribution execution across road, rail and port operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, transport scheduling, distribution, or a related operational environment.
• Strong planning, organisation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and delivery schedules.
• Knowledge of freight, warehousing, transport operations, export logistics, or shipping processes.
• Experience using SAP or similar enterprise systems, with SAP experience highly regarded.
• A proactive, safety-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and export deliveries to ensure products are delivered safely, compliantly, and on time.
• Manage transportation activities across road, rail, port, and warehouse operations while maintaining alignment to customer and shipping schedules.
• Prepare, review, and manage transport, shipping, and export documentation to support seamless operations.
• Monitor inventory levels, perform stock reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and support stocktake activities.
• Process logistics transactions and maintain accurate shipment and inventory records using SAP and related systems.
• Build strong working relationships with manufacturing teams, logistics providers, shipping partners, and internal stakeholders to drive efficient outcomes.
• Champion a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with transport, dangerous goods, environmental, and operational requirements.
