Job summary

St Ann's Outside School Hours Care, operated by Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane, is seeking a motivated Coordinator to lead our service supporting up to 104 children. The role supports St Ann's Primary School community with Before, After School and Vacation Care programs delivering high-quality care.

You will guide a team of educators, ensure safe, inclusive environments, and uphold regulations and ACECQA standards while building strong relationships with children and families.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Children Services or ACECQA equivalent.
  • Must have or be willing to complete National Child Training.
  • Blue Card / Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR.
  • Consent to being Nominated Supervisor.
  • Knowledge of National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operation of Before/After School and Vacation Care programs.
  • Lead, support, and inspire a team of educators to deliver high-quality care.
  • Plan and implement engaging, play-based programs aligned with children’s interests.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families and the school community.

St Ann's Outside School Hours Care is seeking a motivated and experienced Coordinator to lead our vibrant service supporting up to 104 children. Supporting the St Ann's Primary School community, our OSHC service provides high-quality Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care programs where children feel connected, supported and inspired to thrive.

We offer a flexible, child-led program that celebrates children's ideas, cultures and interests, with experiences shaped by their voices and passions. Educators also support daily school drop-off and collection, ensuring a seamless experience for children and families.

You'll be joining a high-performing and well-established team, supported by a strong Assistant Coordinator and experienced educators who are committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for children. Together, you'll build on the service's strong reputation, positive culture and commitment to providing engaging programs and high-quality care for every child.

Lead with Heart and Purpose

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operation of Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care programs
  • Lead, support, and inspire a team of educators to deliver high-quality care and experiences
  • Plan and implement engaging, play-based programs aligned with children’s interests.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and the school community.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards
Requirements
  • Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
  • Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko).
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
  • Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
  • Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.
  • Previous childcare service management experience.
  • Child Protection training is required for this role.
  • Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
