UnitingCare Wesley Bowden is seeking an experienced professional to lead quality, risk, compliance and continuous improvement systems across the organisation. You’ll help ensure regulatory and accreditation requirements are met while fostering a culture of learning and accountability.

You will partner with leaders to identify opportunities for improvement, support best practice, and shape high-quality services that make a meaningful difference in our communities.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications.
• Substantial experience in a role with a focus on quality management, governance, risk, compliance and safeguarding in the community services sector.
• Demonstrated capability to operate as a specialist advisor influencing organisation wide systems and outcomes.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to engage at all levels of the organisation.
• Experience in delivering projects, or initiatives to desired outcomes with an understanding of change management processes.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, the ability to multitask and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
• High level of communication skills, literacy, and well-developed writing skills.
• Knowledge of human and community service quality standards such as NDIS Practice Standards, Aged Care Quality Standards and ASES
• Personal accountability and proactive approach to work health and safety, specifically taking responsibility for the health and safety of self and others
• A current DHS Working With Children Clearance, NDIS Worker Screening and National Police Clearance, or willing to obtain one at your own cost prior to commencement of employment

About the Role

In this role, you'll help ensure we meet regulatory and accreditation requirements while fostering a culture of learning, accountability and excellence across the organisation. Working closely with leaders and teams, you'll identify opportunities for improvement, support best practice, and help shape high-quality services that make a real difference in our communities.

Location

This role is based at Bowden just a short walk to the popular Plant 3 and Plant 4 entertainment complex in Gibson Street however some off-site work will be required.
