Job summary

Rio Tinto is seeking an experienced Coordinator Maintenance Electrical (Supervisor) to join our Bauxite Operations team in Gove, Northern Territory. This hands-on role requires strong Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) experience, advanced fault-finding skills and the ability to provide technical direction across assets.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will deliver E&I technical support, fault diagnosis, troubleshooting and maintenance coordination.

We are looking for an experienced Coordinator Maintenance Electrical (Supervisor) to join our Bauxite Operations team in Gove, Northern Territory. This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) industry experience, advanced fault-finding capability and the confidence to provide specialist technical direction across operational and closure assets.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will provide practical E&I technical support across site, including complex fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, maintenance coordination and reliability improvement. Frontline supervision remains an important part of the role, but the primary requirement is proven technical capability developed through substantial industry exposure, formal training and/or relevant certification.

You will work closely with electrical tradespeople, planners, supervisors, engineers and operational stakeholders to resolve equipment issues, support planned and breakdown maintenance, coordinate technical work during shutdowns and improve the performance of electrical and instrumentation assets.
