Job summary

This is a rare opportunity to join a progressive metropolitan council at a pivotal point in its technology transformation journey. With a new four-year Digital and Technology Strategy now established and a significant capability uplift underway, the foundations have been laid. The next step is execution.

As Coordinator Enterprise Solutions, you will provide operational leadership for Council's enterprise technology platforms, including Microsoft 365, Power Platform, enterprise integrations, Artificial Intelligence, solution development, automation and enterprise architecture. Reporting to the Head of Data and Enterprise Solutions, you will lead a multidisciplinary team focused on ensuring Council's enterprise platforms are reliable, secure, integrated and continually evolving to meet organisational needs.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who can translate business requirements into the practical architecture of technology solutions, strengthen platform governance and drive continual improvement across Council's enterprise systems. You will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams and technology partners to maximise business value, user adoption and customer experience.

The Opportunity

You will play a pivotal role in leading the operational management, support and continual improvement of Council's enterprise architecture and applications, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, collaboration platforms, integration services and digital solutions. This includes developing platform roadmaps, strengthening governance processes, leading technical solution design and supporting the responsible adoption of AI‑enabled capabilities, including Microsoft Copilot and intelligent automation.

Working across the organisation, you will partner with stakeholders to architect and deliver secure, scalable and modern enterprise solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, information sharing and service delivery. You will also lead, mentor and develop a team of enterprise platform specialists, developers and solution engineers.

About You

You are an experienced enterprise technology leader with strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Power Platform, enterprise integration, automation and cloud‑based enterprise platforms.

You have demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams, building capability, improving platform performance and embedding effective standards, documentation and support procedures within a complex technology environment.

You bring sound judgement, strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence outcomes across all levels of an organisation, while balancing strategic platform direction with practical delivery.

To be successful, you will bring:

• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise applications, Microsoft 365 and enterprise platform teams within a complex technology environment
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Power Platform, enterprise integration, automation and cloud‑based enterprise platforms
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams, including coaching, mentoring, performance management and capability development
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks, DevOps, Agile delivery and platform engineering practices
• Ability to lead technical solution design for enterprise applications, integrations, automation and digital workplace initiatives
• Highly developed stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence outcomes across the organisation
• Experience working within Local Government or another highly regulated environment will be highly regarded
• Relevant tertiary qualifications, with architecture, cloud or data governance certifications highly regarded.
