Job summary

Talenza is seeking a technology leader to own and drive the strategy, governance and performance of the enterprise collaboration platforms, including Microsoft 365 and Jira/Confluence. Reporting to the Head of Digital Workplace, you will shape roadmaps, security, compliance and reliability across these critical services.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap and operating model for Microsoft 365 and collaboration services.
• Lead service governance, operational excellence, risk management and continuous improvement.
• Drive incident, problem and change management to ensure service stability.
• Partner with Cyber Security, Risk, Compliance and stakeholders to maintain secure platforms.
• Provide leadership across Microsoft 365 tools including Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Viva and automation/AI capabilities.
• Lead enterprise communications services including Teams Calling, conferencing and telephony.
• Oversee governance and management of Jira and Confluence environments.
• Manage vendor relationships, licensing and commercial outcomes.

Role

Leadership opportunity for an experienced technology leader to take ownership of a large-scale Microsoft 365 and Collaboration Platforms environment. Reporting into Head of Digital workplace, you will be responsible for the strategy, roadmap, governance, performance, security and continuous improvement of enterprise collaboration and communication platforms.

You will act as the platform owner for Microsoft 365, unified communications, meeting room technology, telephony, Jira and Confluence, ensuring these services deliver exceptional user experiences while maintaining strong operational controls, compliance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap and operating model for Microsoft 365 and collaboration services.


• Lead service governance, operational excellence, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives.


• Drive major incident, problem and change management processes, ensuring service stability and resilience.


• Partner with Cyber Security, Risk, Compliance and business stakeholders to maintain secure and compliant platforms.


• Provide leadership across Microsoft 365 including Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Viva and approved automation or AI capabilities.


• Lead enterprise communications services including Teams Calling, audio/video conferencing, telephony and meeting room technologies.


• Oversee governance and operational management of Jira and Confluence environments.


• Manage strategic vendor relationships, service providers, licensing and commercial outcomes.


• Champion user adoption, change management and continuous enhancement of the digital employee experience.


• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing platform team while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.

You Will Have

• Proven leadership experience managing enterprise Microsoft 365 and collaboration platforms within a complex and regulated environment. Financial services highly advantageous


• Come from a Technical Microsoft background with Strong expertise in IT Service Management, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request and Knowledge Management.


• Previously rolled-out co-pilot enterprise wide highly advantageous


• Deep technical and governance knowledge across Microsoft 365 services including Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint and OneDrive.


• Experience with unified communications, Teams Calling, conferencing technologies and workplace collaboration solutions.


• Demonstrated success developing strategic roadmaps, operating models and governance frameworks.


• Strong vendor management, commercial governance and stakeholder engagement capabilities.


• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage executives, technology teams and business leaders.


• The ability to balance risk, compliance, customer experience and commercial outcomes in a fast-paced environment.


• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, with ITIL, Microsoft and/or Atlassian certifications highly regarded.
