Job summary

The United Protestant Association of NSW Limited (UPA) is seeking a Cook to join our Murray Vale shalem team in NSW. You will cook with HACCP-aligned standards and bring strong time management and communication to a resident-centered kitchen that respects rights.

The role requires Certificate III & IV in Commercial Cookery/Hospitality, Food Safety Supervisor, and knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards. Weekend availability is preferred, with competitive pay and staff support.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in working to the compliance of the Food Safety Standards to HACCP level.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Understanding of residents rights, person-centred care and dignity of risk.
• Ability to manage change efficiently and effectively.
• Ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook).
• Certificate III & IV in Commercial Cookery/Hospitality.
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
• Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and Special Dietary needs.
• Experience in Aged Care desirable.
• Team player who is highly motivated.
