Job summary

Julio's Italian Restaurant at Holiday Inn West Perth is seeking a reliable Cook to deliver high-quality dishes across the restaurant, room service and banquets. Join a supportive culinary team focused on great food and guest experiences.

You will bring a minimum of 1 year in a commercial kitchen, a Commercial Cookery qualification (preferred), and a solid understanding of HACCP and food safety. Australian work rights required; a friendly, hands-on attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Commercial Cookery qualification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in a similar role in a commercial kitchen.
• Strong hygiene and food safety knowledge (HACCP).
• Excellent teamwork and communication.
• Organised with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present quality dishes in line with Julio's and IHG standards.
• Take ownership of workstation, ensuring supplies, stock levels and equipment are well maintained.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards at all times.
• Assist with food preparation and service across restaurant, room service and banqueting operations.
• Support kitchen operations through stock rotation, waste minimisation and organisation.
• Assist with dishwashing and other kitchen duties when required.
• Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and hotel team.
• Take on additional duties to support a successful service.
