Job summary

The Glen Hotel Pty is seeking a dedicated kitchen professional to assist in day-to-day operations, including meal preparation, ordering, rostering, and training with front of house management. The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience in a similar role and hold a Certificate III in cooking.

This role offers opportunities to grow within the group as senior roles become available. Responsibilities include cooking as directed, following recipes, operating kitchen equipment

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required.
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Oversee and manage kitchen operations.
• Clean and organise kitchen and equipment in adherence to hygiene and safety regulations.
• Preserve and store foodstuffs in appropriate temperature-controlled facilities.
• Train apprentices and other kitchen staff.

Job description

management.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience in a similar role with a

minimum of a certificate 3 in cooking.
