Qualifications

• Police Check (National Police Certificate) is essential.
• At least 2 years experience as a Cook (Desirable).
• Previous aged care experience (Desirable).
• Has a passion for creating healthy, delicious, and visually appealing meals.
• Is organised, reliable, and committed to maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Knowledge of infection control procedures.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Prepare, and deliver nutritious, seasonal, and appetising meals tailored to residents’ needs and preferences.
• Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
• Ensure kitchen and food preparation areas are kept clean, organised, and well-maintained at all times.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and catering team.

About the Role

We are seeking a Cook to join our team on a Casual Basis!

Various shifts are available, providing flexibility to suit your schedule.

You will be based at our Burdett House, located at 65 Burdett Street Hornsby NSW 2077.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, and deliver nutritious, seasonal, and appetising meals tailored to residents’ needs and preferences
• Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
