Job summary

Moxy Sydney Airport, part of Marriott International, is seeking a Cook to join our energetic Crew. You’ll prepare ingredients, portion, chop and store food, then cook to recipes with attention to quality and presentation, while maintaining a clean, efficient station during service.

• Trade Industry Qualification or completion of Commercial Cookery Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping and storing food before use.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain organisational skills to ensure your section is clean and runs efficiently throughout each service period.
• Follow a food preparation checklist and establish priority items.
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a way that aims to exceed guest expectations.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives and equipment.
• Understand guest requirements and deliver service excellence with each customer experience.
• Maintain strong food safety and property standards.
