Job summary

The Autograph Collection in Sydney is seeking a passionate Cook to join our on-site kitchen team at Walsh Bay. You will prepare and cook quality meals, follow recipes, and maintain high standards of food safety in a fast-paced environment.

You will work collaboratively with the culinary team, demonstrate attention to detail, and support everyday kitchen operations while delivering exceptional guest experiences. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food in accordance with recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Assist with food preparation, portioning, and storage of ingredients.
• Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, grills, fryers, and microwaves.
• Monitor food quality and ensure consistency in all dishes.
• Set up and maintain workstations for service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Follow food safety standards, temperature checks, and hygiene procedures.
• Assist with stock rotation and minimise food wastage.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Report maintenance issues, accidents, or unsafe conditions to management.
• Comply with company policies, health and safety requirements, and grooming standards.

About The Role
