Next Gen Health & Lifestyle Clubs is seeking a casual Cook / Chef to join our team at Ryde. You will work with the Food & Beverage team to deliver quality food while maintaining health and safety standards.

Flexibility is essential, with a 7-day roster including weekend work. We value enthusiastic, team-oriented candidates who can adapt to a fast-paced environment and contribute to ongoing growth within Australia and New Zealand.

Competenze

• Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery (desirable).
• Experience in food preparation and service.
• Enthusiastic and passionate about food.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Maintain kitchen protocols such as HACCP.
• Proof of right to work in Australia and Working With Children Check may be required.

About the Role

You will work closely with the Food & Beverage Team and play your part in ensuring that food hygiene and health and safety compliance is maintained at all times.

The role requires you to work across a 7-day, flexible roster. Key points to note:

• Your hours will be allocated in collaboration with you.
• You will be required to work one day of the weekend, and 2-3 days during the week.
• We will support your growth and development and hours may increase for the right candidate.
• You will become a valued team member and treated accordingly.
• Your input and ideas will be heard.

About You

• It would be desirable, but not essential for you to hold a Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery
• Experience is great - a positive attitude is even better!
• You will be enthusiastic and passionate about all things food
• You are a team player and enjoy working in a hands on environment
• Restaurant and banquet food preparation or willingness to learn
• Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to maintain kitchen protocols such as HACCP
• Proven track record of collaborating within a team environment
