Job summary

Estia Health is seeking a Cook to join our team, delivering high-quality meals that meet residents’ nutritional needs and preferences. You will work with the Chef on kitchen management, tailoring menus and ensuring a wholesome dining experience for our residents.

With a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and a passion for variety across cuisines, you’ll thrive in a busy kitchen supporting a team dedicated to person-centred care. Background checks and vaccination requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen, aged care experience is a bonus.
• Experience handling diverse cuisines and dietary needs for residents.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As Cook you’ll:

• Work alongside the Chef to assist with kitchen management
• Tailor meals to meet individual needs and preferences
• Ensure our residents are provided with healthy, nutritious and delicious meals
• Support the broader kitchen team to deliver a memorable dining experience

You’ll be a real team player who has:

• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Great communication and documentation skills
• Some experience within a commercial kitchen (Aged care highly regarded)
• A healthily amount of experience with a broad range of cuisines, dietary requirements in response to social, spiritual & cultural needs of our residents
