Job summary

Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa in Broome seeks an enthusiastic and experienced Cook to join our premium kitchen on a casual basis. You will develop skills across all areas of our busy operation, working a 7-day rotating roster with 30-35 hours per week for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include presenting food to the highest standards, delivering professional guest service, and coordinating with the HeadChef to address any concerns while maintaining outlet standards in a vibrant resort

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a commercial cooking environment.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel/ resort kitchen preferred.
• Must have thorough knowledge of security, health and safety requirements in a commercial kitchen environment.
• Qualification desirable.

• Ensure staff provide professional, friendly and helpful service to guests and staff.
• Communicate any product or service concerns with the HeadChef.
• Maintain presentation of staff, food, and overall kitchen appearance to outlet standards.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Cook to join our team on a casual basis. Working within a premium kitchen environment, you will have the opportunity to develop and expand your skills across all areas of our busy operation. The role involves working a 7-day rotating roster, with 30-35 hours per week available for the right candidate.

This position will involve:

• Organise and facilitate the highest possible standards of food presentation in your designated area.
• Ensure self and staff display professional, friendly and helpful service to all guests and staff in line with standards and training provided.
• Ensure concerns with product and service are communicated with theHeadChef.
• Product presentation must always be maintained as per outlet standards. This includes presentation of staff, the food served and the overall appearance of kitchen.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in a commercial cooking environment.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel/ resort kitchen preferred.
• Must have thorough knowledge of security, health and safety requirements in a commercial kitchen environment.
• Qualification desirable.
