Job summary

Australian Agricultural Company (AACo) is seeking a Station Cook to join Delamere Station in the Victoria River district, a remote NT location. You will prepare lunch and morning tea for staff and visitors, keep a clean kitchen, and manage supplies.

This role requires prior kitchen experience, nutrition and hygiene knowledge, and strong organisation to plan meals while living in a remote workplace with on-site accommodation and competitive remuneration.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Experience in managing a kitchen and providing meals to schedule.
• Understanding of dietary nutrition and food hygiene.
• Strong organisational skills to plan meals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lunch and morning tea and ensure it’s placed out for staff to take.
• Ensure nutritious meals are prepared for station staff and visitors as required.
• Keep a clean hygienic kitchen and dining room.
• Prepare grocery lists and maintain adequate supplies.
• Maintain kitchen utensils and assist with packing of meat for the kitchen.
