Job summary

Australian Agricultural Company (AACo) is seeking a Station Operations Officer for Anthony Lagoon Station in the Northern Territory. You will support day-to-day admin, reception duties, and general station tasks to ensure smooth operations and a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

Responsibilities include meal planning, staff supervision, visitor hosting, clerical support, and safety risk reporting.

Qualifications

• First Aid certificate required.
• Valid driver’s licence required.
• Proficient in MS Word/Excel/Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cook and meal planning within budget.
• Supervise domestic and gardening staff for cleanliness and presentation of station facilities.
• Support visitor and stakeholder engagement, including accommodation and hosting duties.
• Assist with social club operations: roster coordination and inventory management.
• Provide communication and clerical support (phone, emails, reports, letters).
• Distribute internal communications to all station employees.
• Help maintain presentation across office, buildings and gardens.
• Promote a positive station culture and provide staff support resources.
• Ensure welcoming experience for guests and upkeep of guest quarters.
• Proactively identify and report safety risks and WHS concerns.
• Assist with station purchasing and supplies.
• Contribute to planning and coordination of station events.

This hands-on role involves everything from keeping the office running smoothly to helping with reception and pitching in with general station duties.
