Australian Agricultural Company (AACo) is seeking a Cook to join Eva Downs Station in a remote setting. You will plan menus, prepare meals for staff and visitors, and maintain a clean kitchen to support a high-standard dining experience on site.

We value safety and timely meal provision, with housing accommodation offered. The role requires previous kitchen experience and a willingness to live in a remote location, along with a current driver’s licence and strong organisational skills.

Formación

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Current driver’s license.
• Experience in managing a kitchen and providing meals to schedule.
• An understanding of dietary nutrition and food hygiene.
• High level of organisational skills to plan meals.
• Be prepared to live and work in a remote location.

Responsabilidades

• Menu planning, food preparation and cooking.
• Prepare a variety of Lunch and morning tea and ensure it’s placed out for staff to take.
• Ensure nutritious meals are prepared for station staff and visitors as required.
• Keep a clean, hygienic kitchen and dining room, ensuring floors are swept and mopped.
• Prepare grocery lists and maintain adequate supplies.
• Maintain kitchen utensils and assist with the packing of meat for the kitchen.

We are looking for a Cook to join the team at Eva Downs Station. Eva Downs Station borders the western side of Anthony Lagoon and is located approximately 300 km north-east of Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory. The station operates a breeding, backgrounding and trading enterprise, producing high-quality Brahman cross cattle that are predominantly turned off for the live export market.
