Job summary

4 Pines Brewing Company in Manly, NSW seeks a Casual Kitchen Hand/Cook to join our busy Brew Pub team. You will assist with food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays is essential, with 10 hours per week currently available and up to 30 hours in Summer. We offer staff discounts and development opportunities within a supportive hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients and equipment.
• Manage time effectively with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, portion sizes and quality standards.
• Monitor taste, texture and presentation of dishes.
• Assist in inventory control, ordering and stock rotation.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure timely service.
• Follow food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Dishwashing and kitchen clean-up.

We're on the hunt to find a talented Kitchen Hand/Cook to join our Manly Brew Pub team on a Casual basis.

The Role:

• Casual hours: 10 hours per week available now, with up to 30 hours available in Summer.
• Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
• Quality Control:Monitor the taste, texture, and presentation of dishes
• Inventory Management:Assist in inventory control, including ordering and stock rotation.
• Collaboration:Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of orders.
• Safety and Hygiene:Follow strict food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and clean kitchen environment.
• Dishwashing

You:

• Sound knowledge of various cooking and cleaning methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
• Manage time effectively, have an eye for detail and work well independently.
• Excellent attention to detail.
