Job summary

Norths Cammeray, part of Norths Collective, invites applications for a Kitchen Hand to support our busy kitchen team, serving lunch and dinner from Monday to Sunday.

You will assist chefs, perform basic prep, wash and clean, and help maintain high health and safety standards while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Kitchen hand experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail a must.
• Able to work calmly in a busy kitchen and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to our Chefs within the kitchen environment.
• Limited Basic Food Preparation.
• Lots of washing, cleaning and organizing tasks.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
• Adhere to strict health and hygiene standards.
• Follow Work Health & Safety legislation.

About The Role...

We are currently seeking a Kitchen Hand to join our friendly and experienced Kitchen team at Norths Cammeray, trading Monday to Sunday for lunch and dinner.

Joining Norths Cammeray means you are part of Norths Collective which includes The Alcott Lane Cove, The Greens North Sydney, The Verandah Beecroft, Seagulls Tweed Heads.

Your Key Priorities Will Be To

• Provide assistance to our Chefs within the kitchen environment
• Limited Basic Food Preparation
• Naturally lots of washing, cleaning and organizing
• Working collaboratively with the team to ensure exceptional customer experiences
• Adhering to strict health and hygiene standards
• Adhering to Work Health & Safety legislation

The Candidate

• Previous experience as a kitchen hand
• Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
• Great communication skills
• Ability to work unsupervised in a high pressure environment
• Maintain safety standards
• Full availability over a seven day week is a must including days/nights/weekends.
