Job summary

4 Pines Brewing Company in Coolangatta on the Gold Coast is hiring a part-time cook to join our coastal venue. You’ll handle food preparation, daily kitchen operations, and help maintain high standards across dishes.

Bring an appropriate culinary qualification, grill experience, and a team-first mindset. Applicants should be flexible to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as part of a vibrant hospitality team.

• Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards.

• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory, ordering and stock rotation.
• Collaboration: Work with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of orders.

The Role:

Approximately 20 hrs per week.

• Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
• Daily Operations:Contribute to the kitchen operations, ensuring organization, cleanliness, and efficiency.
• Quality Control:Monitor the taste, texture, and presentation of dishes to maintain the highest culinary standards.
• Inventory Management:Assist in inventory control, including ordering and stock rotation.
• Collaboration:Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of orders.
• Creativity:Contribute to menu development and special offerings, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
• Safety and Hygiene:Follow strict food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and clean kitchen environment.
