Job summary

Allstar Blue in WA is seeking experienced Conveyor Technicians / Supervisors for permanent FIFO roles. Immediate starts and market competitive rates apply.

Responsibilities include belt splicing, repairs, maintenance and installations across Steel Cord, Fabric, Solid Woven and Ply belts; ensure safety, report incidents and assist with splice reports while coordinating workflow and equipment on site.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of all forms of Belt Splicing and Installations.
• Extensive Steel cord experience.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• Understanding of high integrity splicing procedures.

Allstar Blue are currently seeking experienced Conveyor Technicians / Conveyor Supervisors for Permanent FIFO positions in WA. What we are looking for:

• Conveyor Technicians (Level 2 / Level 3) x 6

Key Responsibilities:

• Belt Splicing, Repairs, Maintenance and Installations to: Steel Cord, Fabric, Solid Woven and Ply belts.
• Contribute towards the companies safety policies
• Report any incidents, hazards or near misses
• Assist with creating splice reports
• Coordinate workflow, crew and the equipment
• Perform hot and cold repairs
• Perform pulley lagging and apply mechanical clips
• Identify common belt damage/faults and determine method of repair

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of all forms of Belt Splicing and Installations
• Extensive Steel cord experience
• Strong commitment to Safety
• An understanding of high integrity splicing procedures
