Peabody is seeking an experienced Conveyor Engineer to join our team at Centurion Mine, located approximately 160 kilometres west of Mackay.
Reporting to the relevant operational leader, you will provide technical leadership and engineering support for critical bulk materials handling and conveyor systems across the operation. You will play a key role in ensuring conveyor assets operate safely, reliably and efficiently to support production objectives and long-term operational performance.
Working closely with maintenance, operations, engineering and project teams, you will identify improvement opportunities, optimise asset performance and deliver engineering solutions that enhance reliability, safety and productivity.
You are a technically capable engineer who enjoys balancing hands-on operational support with long-term strategic improvements. You are proactive, analytical and passionate about finding innovative ways to improve asset performance while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
