Job summary

Mipac is seeking multiple Control Systems Engineers to join our growing team delivering automation projects across Australia and internationally. You will contribute across design, FATs, commissioning and site-based activities, with opportunities to advance to senior roles.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial control, PLC/SCADA/DCS, and experience in mining, energy, utilities or heavy industry. Australian working rights and travel to client sites are required.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure and test PLC, SCADA and DCS systems.
• Contribute to the delivery of Greenfields and brownfield control systems projects.
• Develop control philosophies, functional descriptions and engineering documentation.
• Participate in factory acceptance testing (FAT), site commissioning and troubleshooting activities.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors and project teams to deliver practical, fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Apply structured problem-solving and engineering judgement to technical challenges.
• Support the development of engineering standards, quality deliverables and governance requirements.
• Contribute to project planning, technical reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work effectively within multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
