Job summary

ECG Engineering in Brisbane seeks a Control Systems Engineer to join the design team, contributing to a range of mineral processing electrical projects, from detailed design and studies to client coordination on remote mining plant upgrades.

You will design, configure and deliver PLC and SCADA systems, lead software development through FAT, commissioning and handover, and support ECG's engineering standards while liaising with our Toronto and Manila offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent required.
• Experience delivering industrial control systems across full project lifecycle.
• Hands-on PLC programming with major platforms.
• Ability to coordinate engineering teams and projects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, configuration and delivery of PLC and SCADA systems across greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Lead software development from design through FAT, commissioning and handover.
• Involve in PLC programming, SCADA configuration, system integration and problem solving.
• Participate in FAT, SAT, I/O testing and site delivery activities.
• Contribute to ECG's engineering standards, tools and delivery processes.
