Job summary

Covalent Lithium Pty Ltd is seeking a seasoned Instrumentation and Control Engineer to operate the refinery’s automation systems at Kwinana. You will develop and enhance control strategies, ensuring safe, efficient plant performance.

Role requires 3–5 years in similar roles, with expertise in DeltaV and Siemens PLCs. The position offers permanent full-time employment with a 5:2 roster and competitive remuneration.

Qualifications

Degree in control and instrumentation engineering or equivalent.
3–5 years’ experience in similar roles, preferably in mining/resources.
Desirable: Certified Automation Professional and TUV Functional Safety Engineer.

Responsibilities

Operate instrumentation and process control systems at the Kwinana Refinery.
Develop, maintain, modify, and improve control system and instrumentation strategies.
Perform trip checks, safety interlocks and sequence checks; support system integration and commissioning.
