Job summary

Covalent Lithium is seeking an instrumentation and process control specialist to operate and optimize the control system at the Kwinana Refinery. The role focuses on maintaining and improving control strategies to support safe and efficient plant performance.

The successful candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in mining/resources with DeltaV and Siemens PLCs, plus strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in control and instrumentation engineering or equivalent.
3–5 years’ experience in similar roles, preferably in mining/resources.
Experience with DeltaV and Siemens PLCs.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Operate instrumentation and process control systems at the Kwinana Refinery.
Develop, maintain, modify and improve control system strategies.
Support electrical and control engineering work to comply with regulatory requirements.
Perform control system software/hardware testing and factory/site acceptance tests.
Lead projects to optimize plant performance and interact with vendors.
