Job summary

Metcash Limited in Macquarie Park, NSW, is seeking a Contracts & Vendor Management Officer to support contract governance, vendor management and compliance within Group IT. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional aiming to build a career in governance, risk, compliance or commercial operations.

You will work with stakeholders across IT, Finance, Procurement and Legal to maintain audit-ready records, manage contract processing, renewals and governance, and contribute

• Recent university graduate or early in career seeking governance, risk, compliance, vendor management or commercial operations.
• Detail-oriented with documentation and data accuracy.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Support contract and vendor management activities across Metcash IT.
• Coordinate contract documentation, approvals and signatures.
• Maintain accurate contract records and vendor data.
• Monitor renewals, compliance requirements and governance processes.
• Build relationships with IT, Finance, Procurement and Legal stakeholders.
• Identify risks, resolve issues and escalate as needed.
• Ensure audit trails are complete and up-to-date.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Assist onboarding and admin processes for contractors and vendors.
