Job summary

MSC Group is a trusted provider of corporate trust, custody and related services with offices in Melbourne, Sydney and KL. This Sydney-based role focuses on contract management, legal operations and governance within a dynamic financial services environment.

The role requires a tertiary degree in Law/Business/Commerce or related discipline and at least 3 years’ experience in contract administration, corporate trust or funds/capital markets.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage contract lifecycles across multiple mandates.
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills for complex agreements.
• Knowledge of financial services regulation and fiduciary responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate and coordinate execution of documents including syndicated facilities, loan notes, mortgages, trust deeds and SLAs.
• Maintain contract registers and ensure accurate filing of executed agreements.
• Monitor contractual obligations, renewal dates and reporting requirements.
• Monitor service delivery obligations and escalate breaches or risks.
• Coordinate documentation for asset servicing, custody, corporate actions and reporting obligations.
• Support trustee appointments and documentation across structured finance and debt issuances.
• Collaborate with arrangers, issuers, noteholders, advisers and security providers to align documentation.
• Ensure contracts comply with regulatory requirements and governance frameworks.
• Provide advice to senior management on contractual matters and risks.
