Job summary

Foundation Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator or Contracts Manager to join our Darwin team on a site-based role. You will own the project's commercial performance, manage head contract and subcontract obligations, and drive successful outcomes across procurement, contracts, forecasting and stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in major commercial or built-environment projects within D&C contracting, with exposure to Tier 1/leading

Darwin, NT | Up to $230,000 Package + Relocation Assistance

Our client is a respected national contractor with a strong pipeline of work across the Northern Territory and broader Australian market. Due to continued growth and a significant project award, they are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator or Contracts Manager to join their Darwin team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially driven construction professional looking to step into a role with genuine influence. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will take ownership of the project's commercial performance, working across procurement, contract administration, financial management and stakeholder engagement.

You’ll be responsible for driving commercial outcomes, managing risk, overseeing subcontractor agreements and ensuring the successful administration of both head contract and subcontract obligations. This role requires someone who can confidently manage claims, variations, forecasting, contractual notices and reporting while maintaining strong relationships with key project stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering major commercial, building or built-environment projects within a D&C contracting environment. Previous experience with a Tier 1 or leading Tier 2 contractor will be highly regarded, along with strong commercial acumen and a proactive approach to project delivery.
