Job summary

Michael Page Australia is partnering with a well-established resources organisation delivering a major mining project in Western Australia. An experienced Contracts Administrator is sought to support contract delivery across the project lifecycle.

The role covers post-award contract management, variations, claims and progress payments, and contractor performance monitoring. FIFO with an 8:6 roster is offered on a long-term fixed-term contract through to March 2028.

Qualifications

• Experience as Contracts Administrator/Officer/Specialist
• Post-award contract management experience
• Experience across variations, claims, progress payments and contractor performance
• Mining, resources, construction or EPCM experience highly regarded
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Confident working with contractors and project stakeholders
• FIFO / site-based experience advantageous
• Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced project environment

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day post-award contract administration
• Assess and process variations, claims and contract amendments
• Review progress claims and payment documentation
• Monitor contractor performance and contractual compliance
• Manage contract correspondence, notices and obligations
• Support resolution of contractual and commercial issues
• Maintain accurate contract registers, records and documentation
• Work closely with project, commercial and operational stakeholders
• Support contract close-out activities as required
