Job summary

Patterson Building Group in Sydney is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to oversee commercial contracts and financial processes across our projects.

You will prepare forecasts, manage progress claims, and develop tender documentation while maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

The role requires local experience on commercial builds and a solid understanding of Australian head contracts and industry practices.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• Solid local experience as a Contracts Administrator on commercial new build projects.
• Strong understanding of Australian commercial and legal frameworks for head contracts.
• Knowledge of key building trades and processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost forecasts, monitor financial performance, and generate cash flow statements.
• Contribute to monthly financial reporting.
• Ensure site supervisory staff are aware of project scope and tender package inclusions.
• Develop tender documentation for subcontractor procurement, including tender schedules, scope of works, comparative analyses, and recommendations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Manage progress claims and liaise with clients regarding the Head Contract.
