Job summary

DT Infrastructure seeks an experienced Contracts Administrator to support the Commercial Manager on a major $1.6B Perth project, covering design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of the new Automatic Train Control System. The role focuses on commercial administration, contract matters, and day-to-day support to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in construction management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Law, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in contracts administration or commercial management within civil construction.
• Experience on complex infrastructure projects; rail sector experience is advantageous.
• Strong working knowledge of standard construction contracts.
• Exceptional negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to draft clear contractual correspondence.
• Proficiency in project management and cost control software.

Responsibilities

• Procurement & Tendering: assist in preparation, evaluation, and documentation of tenders and maintain procurement registers.
• Cost Management & BOQ: help manage BOQ, track budgets, and evaluate earned value; implement cost controls and manage registers.
• Contract Administration: daily administration of subcontracts, tracking milestones, handling variations, drafting instructions.
• Financial Processing: process POs, delivery dockets, invoices, and payments; prepare payment schedules.
• Reporting & Compliance: produce month-end reports and dashboards; ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Relationship Management: develop strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
