Job summary

Bailey Abbott in Australia is seeking a Test Analyst on a 6-month contract to join our dynamic IT consultancy. You will design and execute test scripts across digital transformation initiatives and collaborate with clients to ensure quality outcomes.

You will review requirements, identify gaps, perform system and integration testing, support UAT, and maintain test documentation. The role emphasizes governance, risk awareness and continuous improvement across multiple projects.

Qualifications

Tertiary IT-related degree or equivalent in information technology.
ISTQB Foundation or equivalent testing qualification highly regarded.
Experience with testing methodologies and QA principles.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute test cases, scripts and scenarios across digital initiatives.
Review requirements to confirm testability, identify gaps, ensure coverage.
Perform system, integration, regression and UAT testing; retest defects.
Identify, document and track defects; coordinate with delivery teams.
Maintain high-quality testing documentation: plans, cases, results, traceability.
Prepare and validate test data to support accurate testing outcomes.
Collaborate with PMs, BAs, developers, vendors and stakeholders.
Monitor testing progress, risks, issues and outcomes; provide insights.
Support QA governance and continuous improvement; align with standards.
Apply analytical and problem-solving skills across multiple projects.
