Job summary

ABB in Australia seeks a mid-level Contract and Risk Manager to support ELDS complex deals and transactions. You will work closely with the Front End Sales Team, finance, and tendering to ensure aligned contract execution and continuous improvement in processes across Electrification divisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Law, Engineering, or related field.
• 8–10 years in contract negotiations and management.
• Strong commercial acumen and knowledge of contract law.
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities.
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and AI tools.
• Professional contract management certification is a plus.
• Self‑motivated with a strong sense of accountability.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate contracts for ELDS complex deals and transactions.
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks and ensure policy compliance.
• Manage the lifecycle of contracts from initiation to closure, including amendments, renewals, and terminations.
• Collaborate with Front End Sales, finance and tendering teams to ensure alignment and execution.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in contract management practices.
