Job summary

Robert Half is partnering with a well-established organisation based in Kwinana to recruit an experienced Payroll Officer for a 6-9 month contract with an immediate start.

You will join a supportive payroll team, delivering end-to-end payroll processing across weekly and fortnightly cycles, handling employee queries and compliance. Employment Hero experience is essential, and a proactive, detail‑focused approach is required. Onsite parking is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a standalone or team payroll position
• Working knowledge of Employment Hero payroll systems
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
• Available to commence at short notice or immediately preferred

Responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll processing across weekly and fortnightly pay cycles
• Managing payroll queries from employees and stakeholders
• Interpreting awards, EBA's and payroll legislation
• Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
• Superannuation, payroll tax and leave reconciliations
• Maintaining employee records and ensuring payroll compliance
• Assisting with reporting and payroll-related administration
