Job summary

Fortescue is seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst to join our Perth-based team on a 12-month contract, Monday to Friday on a traditional roster. The role supports the Senior Payroll Analyst in delivering compliant, accurate, and timely payroll services across complex processes.

You will engage in payroll audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives, handling queries and contributing to project work aligned with organisational priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar high-volume payroll role with attention to accuracy.
• Strong customer service ethic and confidentiality.
• Experience using SAP and Excel for payroll processing.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Payroll Analyst to ensure compliant, accurate payroll processing.
• Process salaries, allowances, contract changes, terminations, and incentive payments on time.
• Administer and reconcile leave entitlements and deductions.
• Support payroll runs, superannuation, payroll tax, and end-of-month/year-end tasks.
• Conduct payroll audits and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
