Assetlink is seeking a Contract Manager to lead the operational and commercial performance of the Western Sydney International Airport contract. You will provide strong leadership across a large frontline workforce and build trusted relationships with airport clients and partners.

The role focuses on delivering safe, efficient services, achieving KPIs and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

This is a key leadership opportunity for an experienced operations professional who can build strong client relationships, lead a large frontline workforce and ensure exceptional service delivery across a complex and high-profile airport environment.

The Role

As Contract Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the operational and commercial performance of the contract, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

You will be responsible for:

• Providing strong operational leadership across the contract and frontline workforce


• Building and maintaining trusted relationships with airport clients, stakeholders and key partners


• Ensuring contractual obligations, KPIs and service standards are consistently achieved


• Managing contract budgets, financial performance and commercial outcomes


• Leading, developing and engaging a large and diverse frontline team


• Ensuring compliance with all safety, security, quality and operational requirements


• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation and service optimisation


• Monitoring performance and implementing strategies to improve operational outcomes


• Creating a positive, accountable and high-performing team culture


• Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to support the long-term success of the contract

About You

You will be an experienced people and operational leader with a strong understanding of complex service environments.

You will ideally have:

• Experience managing large-scale facilities management, cleaning, aviation or integrated services contracts


• Demonstrated experience leading large frontline teams


• Strong client and stakeholder management skills


• Excellent communication, leadership and relationship-building capabilities


• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and contract performance


• A customer-focused approach and commitment to service excellence


• The ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment


• Experience within aviation or major infrastructure environments will be highly regarded
