Job summary

Assetlink is seeking a casual cleaner for our Macquarie centre site in Sydney, with day and night shifts available. If you have commercial or retail cleaning experience and want to be part of a dedicated team, we’d love to hear from you.

This position is paid in accordance with the Cleaning Services Award 2020, and Assetlink offers a safe, supportive working environment and ongoing training. Applicants must have valid work rights in Australia.

Qualifications

• Prior commercial or retail cleaning experience preferred.
• Understanding or willingness to learn chemical handling procedures.
• Familiar with cleaning machinery (scrubbing, buffing, car park sweeper).
• Commitment to safe working practices and physical fitness.
• Ability to communicate in verbal and written English.
• Must have valid work rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks at Macquarie centre on day and night shifts.
• Follow instructions and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Support team with basic cleaning duties as required.

The Role:

We have casual cleaning position at our Macquarie centre site. Day & Night shifts available.

Role Requirements:

• Be well-presented, proactive and able to work well on your own
• Prior commercial or retail cleaning experience preferred (on-the-job training will be provided)
• An understanding of chemical handling procedures and proper cleaning techniques (or willingness to learn)
• Cleaning Machinery experience (scrubbing, buffing, car park sweeper) preferred
• Good knowledge of and a commitment to safe working practices
• Be physically fit to carry out standard duties and ability to walk for lengthy periods
• Good listening skills and the ability to follow instructions
• Be able to communicate in verbal and written English
• Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays
• Must have valid work rights in Australia
