Jigsaw Talent Management, partnering with a leading Tier 1 mining company, is seeking an experienced Contract Manager in Perth CBD to support its projects and procurement function. You will manage the full contract lifecycle and drive commercial outcomes while minimising risk.

You will develop sourcing strategies, oversee performance and disputes, and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external contractors in a fast-paced mining environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Contract Management, Contract Specialist or Category Management in mining or major projects.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement and contract management.
• Experience in complex contract negotiations, claims and dispute resolution.
• Commercially astute with ability to identify opportunities and manage risk.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Jigsaw Talent Management is partnering with a leading Tier 1 mining company to appoint an experienced Contract Manager to support its projects and procurement function in Perth CBD.

This is an opportunity to join an established team, managing a portfolio of contracts while driving commercial outcomes, minimising risk and building strong stakeholder relationships.

The Role

• Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, from tendering and negotiation through to administration and close-out.
• Support the development and implementation of category and project sourcing strategies.
• Oversee contract performance, variations, claims and dispute resolution.
• Identify opportunities to improve commercial outcomes, drive capital efficiency and deliver value.
• Provide commercial advice and build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external contractors.

About You

• Previous experience in Contract Management, Contract Specialist or Category Management roles within mining, resources, construction or major projects, ideally with exposure to Fixed Plant contracts.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement and contract management.
• Experience in complex contract negotiations, claims management and dispute resolution.
• Commercially astute, with the ability to identify opportunities, manage risk and influence positive outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
