With 4+ years in Australian contract administration, you will negotiate trade packages, monitor budgets and ensure compliance across multiple high-quality residential developments. This is a growth-focused opportunity.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in Contract Administration within the Australian construction industry.
• Strong understanding of subcontract administration, procurement and commercial management.
• Confident managing trade packages and negotiating with subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor procurement, tendering and trade package negotiations.
• Prepare scopes of work and administer head contracts and subcontracts.
• Review progress claims, variations, payment schedules and final accounts.
• Monitor project budgets, cost reports, cash flow and contractual risks.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, consultants and subcontractors.
• Identify and resolve commercial and contractual issues throughout project delivery.
• Maintain accurate contract documentation and ensure contractual compliance.

Contract Administrator – Class 2 Residential

The Opportunity

I'm currently recruiting for a Contract Administrator to join an established, award-winning Tier 2 builder based in Sydney.

The business has a strong reputation for delivering quality residential developments and is looking for an experienced CA to join its commercial team, overseeing Class 2 residential projects valued between $50M–$100M.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with an established builder on high-quality developments while gaining exposure to senior leadership and taking ownership of key commercial packages.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor procurement, tendering and trade package negotiations.
• Prepare scopes of work and administer head contracts and subcontracts.
• Review progress claims, variations, payment schedules and final accounts.

About You

• Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Building or a related discipline preferred.
